PAYNE, OH:
Colleen “Sue” Strickler, 82, of Payne, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Sue was born in Payne on February 18, 1942, a daughter of the late Florence (Spencer) & Frederick Hook.
She dedicated her life to her faith and family. Sue worked at Navistar for 26 years and Aeroquip for 10 years.
Sue will be sadly missed by her sons, Randall (Kathleen) & Lynn (Rebecca); brother, Roger Hook; grandchildren, Kayla, Katelyn, Spencer, Trisha, & Ashley (Matt); & great grandchildren, Sophia, Hudson, Waylon, Wynonna, Brezlyn, Teagan, Ryker, Colter, & Nick.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, to whom she married February 23, 1963.
Viewing will be Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 2-5 PM at Dooley Funeral Home of Payne.
Service will be Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior at the Edgerton Wesleyan Church, 1717 Bertha St, Woodburn, Indiana 46797.
Sue will be laid to rest in Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
