On March 29, an officer witnessed a resident of what looked like burning of trash and debris. The officer talked with the resident and instructed that no open burning is allowed in the village.
On March 30, an officer located a resident and arrested him on a warrant for domestic violence.
On March 30, a vehicle unlock request was received and an officer helped the resident.
On April 5, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Wilcox St. The officer responding prepared a report and one of the drivers was cited.
On April 5, a resident of North Garden Apartments reported a gray Jeep was speeding through the parking lot. The vehicle was not located by the responding officer.
On April 5, a resident of Maumee Lane reported the cap of a water main was broken. The officer referred this to the Village Administrator.
On April 6, an officer fielded a call in reference to a deceased person. The Antwerp EMS, County Coroner, and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Deputy all assisted.
On April 6, a resident of Erie St reported a neighbor yelling obscenities at him. A report was prepared and submitted to the Prosecutor.
On April 7, a person of CR 250 called and reported a missing person. The caller was referred to the Sheriff’s Office.
On April 8, a golf cart inspection took place for a resident.
On April 9, a motor vehicle accident took place at Daggett and Erie St involving a semi-truck striking a power pole. The officer helped the driver, prepared the report and contacted AEP and Frontier.
