Archers Take Tough Losses off the Field Last Week

Last week started off rough for the Antwerp Archers. They played host to the Continental Pirates on Monday, April 22nd in high school baseball action. Archers only managed 1 run after 7 innings against the Pirates. Final score: 12-1.

Lady Locomotives from Montpelier traveled to Archer country on Monday April 22nd for a battle at the mound. It was a runaway game for Montpelier ending after 5 innings as the Lady Archers just couldn’t catch them. Final score: 11-0. Elle Clem pitched 4 of the innings earning 7 strikeouts and Madison Schmidt came in as the relief pitcher earning herself 1 strikeouts.
