The Paulding County Retired Teachers Association recently awarded $1200 in scholarships to four high school seniors planning to enter the field of education. Nathaniel Guyton, Braydon Kingen, Aewyn McMichael, and Brenna Thomas each received a $300 scholarship.
Nathaniel, the son of Joe Guyton and Magdalena Taylor will graduate from Wayne Trace High School. He plans to attend Ashland University where he will major in Integrated Mathematics Education.
Brayden, the son of Amanda and Michael Watson, will graduate from Paulding High School. He plans to attend Bowling Green State University where he will major in Early Childhood Education.
Aewyn in the daughter of Scott and Courtenay McMichael. She will graduate from Antwerp High School. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Physical and Health Education.
Brenna is the daughter of John and Crystal Thomas. She will graduate from Wayne Trace high School. She plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne majoring in Art Education.
