First Presbyterian Church of Defiance was the recent recipient of a $1,000 grant from the Defiance Area Foundation (DAF) for their Tools for School initiative.
The collection will be taking place now through August 1st, with various school supplies being collected for students in need. Distribution of the supplies will occur on August 10th and 11th. Donations can be dropped off in the bins under the blue tent in front of the Church – 501 Washington Avenue.
