Antwerp Chamber of Commerce recently sponsored a Trivia Night for the community on Thursday, August 8th. This event coincided with Main Street’s Ladies Night Out organized by the local small businesses of Antwerp.
Trivia at the Oasis was a hit! Seven teams came out for a night of stimulating trivia questions (including bonus questions of Antwerp Basketball) to deliberate against each other. The winning team were the guys from The Upper Nine – but it was a close one: only by one point!
Antwerp Chamber appreciates all who came out for a fun night and to support their local Chamber and restaurant. Jennifer Ankney of Sam Switzer Realty organized the event and Bill Murphy MC’ed calling the questions. Lora Lyons of the United Way of Paulding County helped to tally up the points. Oasis Bar & Grill owner, Doug Bragg and his crew did an awesome job taking care of all the customers on this busy evening. Bragg also stepped up and covered the winners’ winnings allowing Antwerp Chamber to keep their portion for future Chamber support of the Antwerp business community.
