This September, kids in grades 3-5 are invited to Hicksville’s Johnson Memorial Library for a special, three-part series of programs focused on healthy eating.
The ‘Celebrate Your Plate’ series will be presented by Annie Crowder Reynolds, SNAP-Ed Program Assistant at the Defiance County OSU Extension Office. Sessions will take place at the library, 116 W. High St., Hicksville, from 4:00-4:45 p.m. on September 6, 13, and 20.
Attendees will learn all about nutrition, and use the library’s Charlie Cart mobile kitchen to create simple and healthy snacks.
