From 4-H judging and showing to Royalty crowning and faceprinting. 2024 Defiance County Fair had it all including a midway full of rides for the kids and tasty food samplings for all. Justin the Clown was there again this year, providing fair goers with animal balloon creations.
Saturday kicked off with the crowning of the Defiance County Jr. Fair royalty. Then all the activities hit the ground running with Jr. Fair musings and all sorts of entertainment to enjoy. Sunday continued the same momentum with the Xtreme Cheer Challenge — Antwerp Archers brought home a 1st place trophy!
Monday featured the Parade of Bands for area high school marching bands followed by FV Young Farmers Pig Catch. Harness racing opened their first night on Tuesday. Wednesday was Veterans & Senior Citizens day with many activities for this age group.
Thursday was Kids Day with loads of activities for the youngsters. The week rounded out with a demolition derby Sr. Fair entries merchants and Ag Hall entries a flea market and truck pulls.
Another Fair year are in the books and schools are beginning their year!
