Ohio School Boards Association President, Sally Green, recently visited Hicksville Schools, spending the day touring classrooms and learning more about the Hicksville Initiative. Now in its 11th year, the initiative is built on the belief that fostering a strong sense of community, academic excellence, and character development is key to shaping the school’s culture.
During her visit, Green engaged with students and staff, observing firsthand the innovative teaching methods and supportive environment cultivated through the initiative. “This visit has been one of the highlights of my travels this year. It was truly an amazing visit,” Green said.
