PAULDING – The Paulding Panthers moved to 3-0 on the season with a 27-2 win over visiting Delphos Jefferson Friday night in non-league football action at Keysor Field.
The two points by the Wildcats were the first points of the season against the Panthers, who have outscored opponents 119-2 this season.
Paulding racked up 143 yards on the ground, led by 111 rushing yards from Avery Cooper, while totaling 182 yards in the passing attack.
Quarterback Colten Hunt completed 10 of 22 passes for 182 yards with Blake Rhonehouse picking up five receptions for 116 yards.
Kane Jones added four catches for 34 yards as well for Paulding.
The Panther defense was led by Jack Woods, who racked up eight tackles in all with two tackles for a loss.
Jalen Manz added six stops with a trio of tackles for a loss while Jones and Rhonehouse recorded five tackles apiece.
Carter Evans chipped in four tackles with Luke Beckman and Curt Langsdorf picking up three tackles each.
