Ella Crosby carded a 91 to lead the Wayne Trace Lady Raiders to the Green Meadows Conference team championship Tuesday in girls golf action at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon.
The Lady Raiders carded a 383 to win the tournament, posting a 17-stroke victory over second place Ayersville.
Tinora finished third with a 415 while Edgerton took fourth at 465 and Antwerp finished fifth with a 486.
Ryann Jay added a 94 for the red, white and blue with Reagan McGarvey carding a 98 while Tori Young and Olivia Baughman both posted a 100. Audrey Dougal completed the list of Wayne Trace golfers with a round of 137.
Ava Stork captured the Green Meadows Conference Player of the Year award after shooting an 89 for the tournament while Pilot teammate Taylor Sweinhagen chipped in a 96.
Tinora was led by Adelaida Gill with a 98 and Rose Billing shot a 101.
Edgerton’s Jaden Dietsch posted a 104 for the Bulldogs with Laynee Wright carding a 106 and Grace Herman finished with a 118.
The Lady Archers of Antwerp were led by Lyla Clem with a 104 and Madison Schmidt recorded a 113. Kara Pierce (134), Maylynn Carnahan (135), Miley Jewell (137) and Sara Farr (140) rounded out the Antwerp list of players.
Natalie Timbrook of Fairview posted a 91 to lead the Apaches with Camryn Whitaker adding a 116 and Abri Elson shot a 144. Aleyah Keeley topped Hicksville at 103 while Gabriella Fisher posted a 118 and Madalyn Hedge finished with a 120.
Delaney Dachenhaus represented Paulding in the tournament as well, recording a 106.
The Wayne Trace boys golf team was dominant at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon Tuesday as the Raiders easily captured the Green Meadows Conference championship over second place Tinora.
The red, white and blue posted the top four individual placers, led by senior Kyle Sutton with a medalist round of 73. Sutton also claimed the Green Meadows Conference Player of the Year honor for the season.
Senior Jared Varner was tournament runner-up with a 77 while sophomore Brody Rosswurm added a 78 and senior Conner Davis totaled a 79. Senior Tyson Gerber and junior Konnor Wannemacher added rounds of 86 and 92, respectively, for the Raiders.
Wayne Trace totaled a 307 in winning the league title with the second place Rams posting a 339 and third place Antwerp finished with a 358.
Hicksville (359) took fourth followed by Paulding (365), Ayersville (373), Fairview (377) and Edgerton (490).
Tinora scorers included Grant Lymanstall (83), Logan Stein (84), Kaiden Massengale (86), Parker Hancock (86), Ryder Backhaus (92) and Grayson DeLarber (93).
Braylen Moreno paced Antwerp with an 83 followed by Zaine McMichael (85), Draven Baumert (93), Dylan Hahn (97), Griffin Kosch (99) and Drew Eaken (101).
The Aces were paced by Parker Bassett at 84 and Kolton Adams carded an 86. Luke Eicher (92), Charlie Karacson (97), Jack Bourgeois (97) and Lucas Meerzo (100).
Paulding’s trio of Nico Stahl, Austen Kinder and Brandon Schroeder all had a 91 and Tyler Goyings chipped in a 92. Nick Hatcher (95) and Johnathan Lipps (106) rounded out the Panther lineup.
Andrue Barrick and Logan Schroeder finished with scores of 96 and 97, respectively, to lead the Pilots. Kallen Foreman added a 98 for Ayersville followed by Graham Schlachter (102), Dane Ewers (103) and A.J. Eschbach (105).
Jonah Shininger and Xavier Shininger both totaled a 91 for Fairview while Anthony Singer added a 93 and Owen Speiser chipped in a 102. The other two scorers for the Apaches were Reese Winkler (103) and Drew Ford (106).
Edgerton players included Cole Gary (113), Ian Cronin (115), Jon Cronin (118) and Parker Abraham (144).
