On September 14, the Paulding FFA Chapter put on a petting zoo at the Gardens of Paulding. The petting zoo provides a chance for residents who live at the Gardens and their family members to see and pet several different types of farm animals. The petting zoo was a great way for the chapter to give back to the community. There were smaller animals at the petting zoo which included ducks, chickens and baby kittens. There were also lots of bigger animals including pigmy goats, a large saanen goat named snowflake and two adorable dogs all brought by members of the Paulding FFA chapter. Our members truly enjoyed interacting with the residents and their families. It was wonderful to hear about their pets and stories of their time on their own farms. We had a wonderful time and hope to do it again in the future.
