Antwerp Police Reports

On September 1, a resident of River St. reported her cousin had been living in her garage and her cousin has since been arrested, and she does not want her back. 

On September 1, a resident of Main St. reported they were being stalked by their neighbor.

On September 4, an investigator with the Ohio Investigative unit contacted the village of Antwerp. The police department assisted him with checking local businesses for fake card readers.

On September 4, a resident of North Garden Apartments reported that suspicious people were walking around his car.

On September 4, a resident of the village reported that he had lost his front license plate. It was located in Paulding and returned to the owner.

On September 5, a resident of North Garden Apartments reported that his upstairs neighbor was being loud.

On September 6, Antwerp Police Department received a report of a pony running east bound on old 24 heading toward village limits. Officer responded and was able to catch the pony in front of the Root Beer Stand. Several citizens assisted in locating the owner of the pony, also in transporting the pony back to his home.   

On September 7, an officer assisted Antwerp EMS at a residence in the  village 

On September 7, a motor vehicle accident was reported at one of the buildings outside of the Antwerp Manor Assisted Living. The officer responded and prepared a report.

On September 8, a credit card was found at one of the local businesses. Owner of the was card contacted.

On September 9, an employee of Dollar General reported the theft of several items.

On September 10, an individual was reported possibly drunk and passed out at the village park. The officer responded and cited the individual for open container, then gave him a ride to Love’s Travel Center.

On September 11, a records check was requested by the Allen County Indiana Sheriff office for a resident of the village.

On September 11, a resident reported that they suspected that a juvenile was being assaulted at a residence on Canal St. Officer responded and spoke to the juvenile who was home alone. The juvenile said he had gotten upset and was yelling.

On September 14, a domestic dispute was reported at  a residence on North Main St., half of the party had left.

On September 14, while patrolling, an officer saw several vehicles parked on the sidewalk at a residence on Woodcox St. Owner of  the residence removed the vehicles.

On September 15, a resident of North Garden Apartments reported he had left for the day and when he came back the glass near his air conditioner had been pushed out.

On September 16, a resident of Washington St. reported that the Saturday before they believed someone was knocking at their front door, stepped up on the porch and possibly tried to get in.
