Woodlan FFA’s Annual Wabash Erie Day

Woodlan Jr/Sr High School held their annual Wabash Erie Day on Friday, September 27th.

Wabash Erie is a day the FFA students plan and organize for second graders coming from nearby schools to learn about how life was lived in the 1800’s on the canal. This year, Woodlan had many second grade students coming from multiple different schools. Some activities the FFA includes in Wabash Erie are: learning about tiling tools, learning how to make apple cider, and many more. Some of the students favorite parts this year were the pumpkin decorating because they were able to take their own decorated pumpkins home with them and show their parents.
