Hear the results of a paranormal investigation conducted recently at Defiance Public Library during a special presentation by author and paranormal investigator James Willis, set to take place at the library, 320 Fort St., on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m.
Willis, a nationally recognized author and paranormal researcher, will take attendees on a journey through local folklore and eerie tales as he presents ‘Ghosts and Legends of Defiance County,’ a free program that is open to all adults. The program will take place in the library’s Nellie Gary Reading Room, and no registration is needed.
Willis has authored several books, including The Big Book of Ohio Ghost Stories, Ohio’s Historic Haunts, and Central Ohio Legends and Lore, in addition to contributing to six books in the popular Weird US series. He is also founder of The Ghosts of Ohio (ghostsofohio.org), a group dedicated to investigating and researching reports of hauntings throughout the state.
Willis and his team investigated the library in August and will share the results of that investigation for the first time at this program.
Willis’ visit is sponsored by the Friends of Defiance Public Library. For more information about the event, call 419-782-1456.
