Defiance Area YMCA Awarded $23,750 Grant for Childcare Program Expansion

The Defiance Area YMCA has received a substantial $23,750 grant during the Defiance Area Foundation’s fall 2024 grant cycle. This funding will be used to expand the YMCA’s childcare program by replacing furniture, purchasing new cubbies, and acquiring two new smart boards, among other enhancements.

This investment underscores the commitment to providing quality childcare services and supporting the growth and development of young learners in the community.
