Lima Senior outscored host Wayne Trace 17-11 in the fourth quarter as the Spartans pulled away for a 53-47 win in non-conference girls basketball play Tuesday at the ‘Palace.’

The Spartans jumped in front 14-11 at the end of one period before both teams added thirteen markers in the second stanza, putting Lima Senior on top 27-24 at the intermission.

Wayne Trace rallied to tie in the third quarter, scoring a dozen points while Lima Senior bucketed nine to send the game knotted at 36-36 entering the final stanza.

Khaliah Luster scored 29 points to top all scorers in the contest and lead Lima Senior to the victory.

Amiyah Coleman added 13 for the Spartans with Daniyah Denson chipping in four and Ke’Asia Jones posting three. A’Nya James and Zy’Asija Scott also contributed two points apiece for Lima Senior.

Lexi Moore paced the red, white and blue with 15 points and Harper Myers contributed nine markers.

Tianna Sinn and Kathleen Stoller both chipped in seven markers for Wayne Trace with Careen Winans adding six. Caroline Winans also had a basket for the Lady Raiders and Amber Stoller hit one free throw.
