Johnson Memorial Library Receives $10,000 Grant for Renovation and Remodeling

The Johnson Memorial Library in Hicksville has been awarded a generous $10,000 grant to support the second phase of its renovation and remodeling project. This grant underscores the commitment to improving community facilities and enhancing services for local residents.

The funding will assist in continuing updates to the library, providing a more modern and accessible environment. Dawn Hostetler, President of the Johnson Memorial Library Friends, and Don Hange, a Defiance Area Foundation Grants Committee Member, were present for the announcement, along with board members Mary Kay Shimko, Beth Headley, and Susan Mack, who expressed gratitude for the support.
