The Black Swamp Area Council of Boy Scouts has received a generous $25,000 grant from the Defiance Area Foundation (DAF) as part of its fall grant cycle. This funding was instrumental in completing the construction of the Keith Hubbard Dining Hall, a new facility that will benefit scouting programs and events in the community.

The Keith Hubbard Dining Hall is a significant addition, providing much-needed space for gatherings and further supporting the council’s mission to inspire and equip young people through scouting initiatives. This grant reflects DAF’s continued commitment to improving community resources and creating lasting impacts.
