PAULDING, OH:
Frances T. Johanns, age 93, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Paulding County Hospital.
Frances was born on December 22, 1931 in Toledo, OH to the late Frank and Julia (Zalecki) Ochmanek. On January 3, 1953 she married Charles E. Johanns. Frances spent her life creating a loving home for her family. She was a loyal member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Paulding V.F.W. Post #587 Ladies Auxiliary.
Frances will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Karen (Rick) Varner, Paulding, OH; sons, Gregory Johanns, Paulding, OH; Keith (Cindy) Johanns, Dublin, OH; daughters-in-law, Tamara (Mike) Johanns and Mari Ann (Tony) Johanns; grandchildren, Laura (Troy) Norris, Eric (Marissa) Johanns, Leslie (Jon) Parrett, Kylie (Derek) Higgins, Casey (Drew) Johanns, Nikki (Bill) Heilner, Kyle (Emily) Varner and Kaley Varner; great grandchildren, William, Mason, Charlie, Colsen, Caden, Callen, Marley, Gannon, Gavin, Paige and Maverick; sisters, Rita Stanford and Helen (Jerry) Hundsrucker both of Toledo, OH.
Frances was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles on January 14, 2011; sons, Michael Johanns and Tony Johanns; brothers, Richard and Emil Ochmanek and granddaughter Candace Johanns.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding, OH with Father Austin Ammanniti officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, OH with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.
