In a game filled with back-and-forth action, the Tinora Lady Rams edged out the Antwerp Lady Archers, 49-44, in a closely contested Green Meadows Conference matchup on Thursday night.

Tinora’s balanced scoring attack proved pivotal, led by Okuley’s 15 points. She was joined by strong performances from Blanchard, who added 12 points, and Creps, who chipped in 11. Tinora’s defense tightened in key moments, holding off a determined Antwerp rally in the final minutes.

The Lady Archers were paced by a stellar performance from Caroline Rohrs, who poured in a game-high 24 points to keep Antwerp in contention throughout. Teammate Franklin added seven points, while Clara Rohrs and Bagley contributed three points each.

The game was a see-saw battle from the start, with Tinora holding slim advantages at the end of the first and third quarters. Antwerp’s 15-point fourth quarter narrowed the gap, but Tinora held on, bolstered by clutch free-throw shooting and steady offensive execution in overtime.

Tinora’s win improves their record to 6-6 overall and 1-1 in the GMC. Meanwhile, Antwerp falls to 4-7 overall and 0-1 in the GMC.
