Rohrs Breaks 1,000-point Mark!

Tuesday night was a special night for the Antwerp Lady Archer basketball program as senior Caroline Rohrs became the tenth player in school history to break the 1,000-point mark in a 42-35 win over visiting Pettisville.

Rohrs bucketed twenty-one points to eclipse the special mark and now stands at 1,008 points for her career.

Briley Bagley added nine markers for the Lady Archers followed by Raeley Franklin with six points. Mara Phlipot and Clara Rohrs both picked up three markers for the blue and white.

Antwerp held a 9-7 advantage after one quarter before both teams bucketed nine points in the second stanza, giving the Lady Archers a 16-14 lead at the midway point of the contest.

The blue and white added thirteen points compared to nine for the Blackbirds in the third quarter, expanding the margin to 31-25 entering the final stanza.

Olivia Miller bucketed 19 points to lead Pettisville with Becca Strauss chipping in eight markers. Also finding the scoring column for the Blackbirds were Grace Remington (four), Grace Hastings (three) and Noelle Fox (one).
