Hicksville Library Receives $7,500 Grant for Renovation & Remodeling

The Johnson Memorial Library in Hicksville has received a significant financial boost, securing a $7,500 grant from the Hicksville Community Fund, a charitable fund managed by the Defiance Area Foundation (DAF). This funding will support the library’s ongoing remodeling and renovation efforts, ensuring improved facilities for the community.

Additionally, the Johnson Memorial Library Friends received a matching $7,500 donation, from Jim and Karen Schmidt further amplifying the impact of the grant. The funds will help enhance library spaces, making them more functional and welcoming for patrons of all ages.
