
The Antwerp Archers picked up their first Green Meadows Conference win of the season as the blue and white recorded a 46-38 victory over Hicksville Friday night.
The visiting Aces took the lead after eight minutes of action, doubling up the Archers 10-5 in the opening stanza of the quarter.
Antwerp answered in the second period, putting up 14 points compared to nine for Hicksville to even the contest at 19-19 through two quarters.
In the third period, the blue and white scored fourteen more markers while the Aces were limited to ten as Antwerp took a 33-29 advantage into the final period.
The Archers wrapped up the victory with a 13-point fourth quarter in posting the 46-38 victory.

Zaine McMichael led the way for Antwerp with 18 points on the night while Keegan Gray-Wyckoff and Hampton Rogge both chipped in eight markers. Drew Eaken added six points for the blue and white with Weston Rhonehouse totaling three for the Archers, who improved to 5-16 in all games and 1-6 in the league.
Luke Eicher and Bronson Graber both recorded eight points for Hicksville and Brant Langham chipped in seven for the Aces, who fell to 7-13 overall and 1-6 in the conference.
Jayden Rosalez (five), Paxton Yoder (five), Owen Stuckey (four) and Jesus Avalos (one) also scored for Hicksville.
