The Kiwanis Club of Paulding County was privileged to have Ashley Shepherd ,(Family and Children First Coordinator, OCTF Coordinator, 21st CCLC Coordinator at Western Buckeye Educational Center),as the guest speaker at the March 13, 2025, club meeting. Ashley came at the invitation of Lora Lyons,(Mayor of Payne, Ohio and fellow Kiwanian). Ashley spoke to the Kiwanians about Camp Invention and the benefits it has on staff and campers. Camp Invention is a week long summer adventure with activities that help kids explore the connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Camp Invention is designed to help students create, collaborate and gain confidence through STEAM curriculums.
