The Oakwood Library Association hosted its annual Chocolate Extravaganza fundraiser recently at the Cooper Community Library, a branch of the Paulding County Carnegie Library. Just under 100 guests attended each evening (Tuesday and Thursday) to enjoy eight courses of chocolatey decadence. With a “Fiesta” theme, the chocolatiers indulged guests with sombrero cookies, spicy cacti chocolates, as well as chilled desserts.
The Event Planning Committee worked diligently for this year’s event and all guests were satisfied to the gills at the closure of the evening with Fiesta key chains and Tupperware containers of leftover chocolates.
