Five of our Antwerp high school student council members earned the All-Ohio Award from the Ohio Association of Student Leaders.

Mara Philpot – Mara planned an amazing pep rally game this fall, using her knowledge of horses and races. The pep rally game, which the entire school observed, significantly boosted school spirit leading up to the Homecoming game. She is a reliable member of student council who checks in weekly to see how she can help, contributing countless hours of service this semester.

Zaine McMichael – Zaine is a wonderful president for his class. He sets up and tears down many of our council events, when few others stick around to help. He is available to help throughout the week as tasks come up, often at the drop of a hat.

Taylor Stiebling – Taylor is another trustworthy class president. She is passionate about helping those in need, for both local fundraisers and national natural disasters. Taylor is kind to everyone and always has a smile on her face.

Madisyn Peters – Madisyn is a driving force behind the Lee Strong event, which is coming up on Saturday, April 12th. She reached out to the local community to find sponsors for this event, which is being held in honor of local teacher, Mr. Zach Lee. Madisyn is not afraid to share her ideas and she knows how to follow through with the many demands placed upon her.

Madison Schmidt – Madison has proven to be a dependable representative for the sophomore class. Madison is typically the first to respond when volunteers are needed for various events, always exceeding the service hours required by each council member. She volunteers her time and energy year after year, showing what a true leader is made of.
