On Saturday April 5th , the Wayne Trace High School Esports Team of Serenity Helms, Axel Bidlack, Tyler Sanderson, Ryan Bostelman, Brandon Shoup, coaches Mr. Eli Stuart, Mr. Matt Holden and Mrs. Jessica Holden made school history when they participated in the Esports Overwatch Northwest Regionals, at Cedar Point Sports Center.
The Wayne Trace Team played against the number one seed (Whitmer), from Group B, in the Overwatch Quarterfinals. The Team did not move forward in the tournament, but they were given an opportunity to compete at a Regional Level and gain valuable experience for future competitions. The Team represented Wayne Trace High School with respectfulness.
