ANTWERP POLICE REPORTS

On November 15 – A welfare check was requested on a resident. Additionally on this date, a report was made regarding a sex offense that occurred outside of Antwerp’s jurisdiction. Officers advised the individual to file the report in the jurisdiction where the assault occurred.

On November 16 – Officers stopped a dirt bike driving on a city street at 7:00 p.m. The driver was cited for driving without headlights and no operator’s license. In a separate incident on this date, a resident reported a person trespassing on their property.

On November 18 – A vehicle struck a yellow barrier at the Sunoco gas station. In a separate case on this date, a report of a potential protection order violation was filed and sent to the Fulton County prosecutor’s office.

On November 19 – A motor vehicle struck a deer on West River Street near the village limits.

On November 21 – Officers were contacted about a juvenile going door-to-door asking for food and money. A report was filed and sent to the Department of Job and Family Services.

On November 22 – Officers responded to a domestic dispute at the Leinard Mobile Home Park. A report was filed and sent to the Paulding County prosecutor’s office. In another incident on this date, officers were contacted regarding harassment against an Antwerp resident. A report was documented and filed.

On November 25 – A domestic dispute was reported. Officers determined that no physical altercation or threats occurred. A report was filed with the Paulding County prosecutor’s office.

On November 29 – An assault was reported on an Antwerp school bus involving students. An investigation was conducted, and a report was filed with the Paulding County prosecutor’s office.

On November 30 – A motor vehicle accident occurred at the Pit Stop gas station. The driver was cited for failure to control and no operator’s license.

On December 1 – A resident on Harrmann Street reported that their mailbox was hit and knocked over.

On December 2 – A resident reported that prescription medication was stolen from their vehicle. In a separate incident, a black clipboard was found and returned to its owner.
