
Bakers and candy makers from around Paulding County are making more than 50 types of handmade sweets to sell at a one-day-only pop-up shop on Thursday, April 10 to benefit the Caring & Sharing Food Pantry. The Sweet Shop will feature many varieties of chocolates and other candy, 20 types of cookies, an array of pies, yeast and sourdough breads, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes and more.
The Sweet Shop will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 601 Flat Rock Drive in Paulding. Cash and checks will be accepted.
The money raised from the event will go to the general operating budget for the pantry which will help to pay our ongoing expenses, including buying food.
Businesses and organizations donating items to the event include: Bean Creek Farms, Farmer’s Wife Cupcakes, Grounded Coffee & Crumbs, Paulding County Hospital, Paulding County Senior Center, Paulding Exempted Village High School Nutrition and Wellness class, Setser’s Sourdough and Sweet A.S. Cakes. Many individual bakers and candy makers are also donating.

The Caring & Sharing Food Pantry’s purpose is to support Paulding County residents who are experiencing food insecurity. They are run entirely on donations of food and financial support from the local communities.
