HAPPY BUNCH 4-H CLUB FEBRUARY & MARCH MEETINGS

February Meeting Wrap Up

The Happy Bunch 4-H Club had a meeting on February 11 at 4:30 p.m at the Youth Leadership Building. 

The meeting was called to order by Zoey Manz. Then Duke Wiesehan led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Trevor Manz led the 4-H Pledge. Then the clover buds were dismissed with Daniel Weishan. 

The minutes for the last meeting were read and approved. Everett Wilhelm had a safety report over animal safety. Becca had a health report over exercising. 

For the meeting attendance we had 22 members in total including a new member that joined. Then the Manz family supplied snacks and recreation. The snack was cookies and recreation was that we had to decorate our own cookie however we wanted. 

The next meeting is March 11, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at the Youth Leadership Building.

March Meeting Wrap Up

On March 11,2025 the Happy Bunch 4-H Club had a meeting at 4:30p.m. at the Youth Leadership Building. Zoey Manz called the meeting to order. Duke Wiesehan led the 4-H Pledge and Savana Manz led the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Then the Cloverbuds were released. The Cloverbud project was making a blanket for Amber Brown.  She is a past advisor who is fighting cancer.  

After that the minutes from the last meeting were read. Trevor Manz moved to approve the minutes, and Olivia Schlatter second it. The minutes were approved by a majority vote.

After that Natalie Schlatter read the treasurer’s report. Becca gave a safety report on the effect of sugar to the body. Then  we talked about a community service project, and agreed on DIY flowers for the nursing home residents. Trevor Manz moved to approve the flower project and Zoey Manz second it. 

The club voted to approve the DIY flower project.  Then we talked about our fundraiser. We agreed on a bake sale at Flat Rock Festival. Bradyn Miller moved to approve the bake sale, and Trevor Manz second it.  The club voted to approve the bake sale as a fundraiser.  

Then Zoey Manz adjourned the meeting after the club voted to approve adjournment. After that Rice Krispie Treats were served as a snack and played a game. For the game, you got a sticky note on your back and had to guess who you were by asking yes or no questions to other members.
