Paulding County Carnegie Library employees, Susan Deatrick, Jamie Lammers, Teresa Reel and Jennifer Meyer recently completed their requirements for Certified Public Library Staff through the Ohio Library Council. Renewals for certification is every 5 years and requires 50 hours of continuous training.
The Ohio Library Council (OLC) and the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) announced recently that through an agreement with LinkedIn, Ohioans will gain free access to the online courses from Lynda.com with a valid Ohio library card.
